Job Title: Commercial Senior Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies, ensuring accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications and effective contract change management.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
  • Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders, ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in contract management, cost management, change management, valuation, procurement, reporting, and collaborative approach.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
  • Ability to identify and drive efficiencies and improvements through the project life cycle.
