About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive primary school in Colindale, London. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with class teachers to provide valuable support to students and help them reach their full potential.

In this full-time, long-term role, you will work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, leading small group sessions and occasionally stepping in to cover whole classes. You will play an essential role in supporting students with additional needs, offering tailored support where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting class teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Leading small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and other key areas.
  • Covering full classes when necessary, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Helping students with additional needs, offering tailored support where needed.
  • Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment.
