Job Summary

H&G Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Tramper Drivers to join our team. As a Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out general haulage duties to UK ports and distribution centres
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with road regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as an HGV Class 1 driver
  • Maximum of 6 points on your license
  • Ideal candidate will have a valid RHIDES card
  • Ability to drive HGV trucks safely and efficiently
  • Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
  • Good physical condition to load and unload cargo
