SEN Teacher Vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Teacher to join our team at a Wandsworth-based OfSTED Outstanding SEN School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a mixed EYFS/Yr1 class of ASD/SLD pupils, working closely with a team of two specialist Teaching Assistants and a higher level teaching assistant.

About the Role
  • Teach a class of eight pupils with a range of needs, including ASD and SLD
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, taking into account the individual needs of learners
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a smooth transition for the new SEN Teacher
  • Participate in a comprehensive induction and support plan to ensure the new SEN Teacher's success

Requirements
  • QTS
  • Experience teaching within a specialist SEN environment or primary school in the UK in the last 12 months
  • A good understanding of P levels and the Key Stage 1 national curriculum
  • A creative approach to lesson planning
  • A patient, calm, and engaging classroom manner
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
