Job Title: Programme Manager

**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our Quality Improvement initiatives in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality improvement plans, working closely with project leads and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead on developing and implementing Quality Improvement Plans for the Emergency Department
  • To collaborate with project leads to ensure robust sub-plans are in place
  • To arrange regular Quality Improvement Group meetings to discuss progress and challenges
  • To design and implement an exception reporting framework to track and address quality issues
  • To work with individual leads to ensure actions are being progressed and quality improvements are being implemented
  • To update the risk register to reflect risk management approaches and mitigation strategies
  • To identify and support the establishment of key protocols for quality improvement
  • To establish key critical success factors against each element of the quality improvement plan
  • To ensure regular updates to the Emergency Department team through attendance at existing meetings and groups
  • To provide communication progress and storyboards for engagement with the Emergency Department team
  • To communicate local changes through regular updates at Emergency Department Huddles
  • To develop communicative tools to support quality improvement initiatives

Essential Experience:

  • Experience working at a Band 8 level
