About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator/3rd line engineer to support our business in providing high-quality computing environments. As a key member of our IT Operations team, you will be responsible for providing and managing System Administration expertise to our user community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a resilient, cost-effective, and highly available infrastructure to support our business operations.
  • Core Server Support: Build, maintain, and manage server environments to meet our current SLA's, through effective processes, KPI's, and problem management.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems, escalating to team members or other teams and vendors when required.
  • Ensure timely completion of IS Change requests to enable service improvement.
  • Support users in their day-to-day activities with resolutions to problems and issues.
  • Build relationships with other teams within IT Operations to enable better support and communications.
  • Maintain technical skills to benefit from new and emerging technologies.
  • Attend technical briefing/support groups.
  • Understand and develop support system road maps.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as an IT Systems/Infrastructure Server Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of VMWare, Linux, and Active Directory.
  • Dell/HP hardware support and patching.
  • Windows Infrastructure including key components such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DC, DNS, SCCM, WSUS, and PKI.
  • Updating Server Certificates expiry within CA.
