TRIA, a leading Insurance organisation, is seeking a skilled Security Operations Analyst to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. The successful candidate will work across projects, providing BAU support and contributing to the organisation's IT Security Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of network fundamentals, including OSI Stack, TCP/IP, DNS, and SMTP.
  • Understanding of threat actor approaches to attacking networks, including phishing, port scanning, web application attacks, DDoS, and lateral movement.
  • Ability to analyse vulnerabilities and threats, review designs, procedures, and architectural diagrams, and produce reports for senior management.
  • Proven experience with commercial SIEM and EDR systems, as well as good knowledge of Cyber Security Incident Response processes and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, analyse logs, and determine appropriate response actions.

InfoSec Capabilities:

  • Understanding of ISO27001 and NIST Cyber Security Frameworks.
  • Familiarity with risk management, risk acceptance processes, and security assessments and mitigation controls.
  • Knowledge of risk, compliance, process, and procedure.
