Senior Test Development Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Test Development Specialist to join our team at Yunex Traffic. As a Senior Test Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative test methods for our manufactured products. You will work closely with Operations to design and refine testing processes to ensure the highest standards of quality are met. Additionally, you will collaborate with design engineers to optimize testability throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Cutting-Edge Testing Methods: Collaborate with Operations to create efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Leading and Inspiring: Work closely with design engineers to optimize testability.
  • Structured Problem Solving: Identify root causes of test-related challenges and implement solutions.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Keep updated on modern test method practices and implement new techniques.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electronic hardware and software design.
  • Database Expertise: Experience with interfacing software solutions with databases.
  • Tool Familiarity: Proficiency with essential testing tools such as LABView, Labwindows CVI, NI CVICoding.
  • Programming Skills: Ability to write software programs for automated equipment.
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

  • In-circuit test method development
  • AOI programming experience
  • System testing development
  • SQL Integration Programming experience
  • SQL Databasing experience

Education:

  • Desirable: HNC/Degree or equivalent experience in Electronics or similar field.
