Key Responsibilities:

  • Precisely identifying issues, performing maintenance, and executing urgent repairs.
  • Engaging with clients regarding lifting and handling machinery.
  • Capability to operate independently at client locations while ensuring thorough documentation and optimal solutions.
  • Regularly visiting sites to conduct repairs and devise solutions.
  • Working with engines, batteries, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems, along with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as mechanical and electrical skills (mandatory)
  • Experience in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance (preferred)
  • Background in Forklift, Plant, Heavy Goods Vehicle, or Agricultural sectors (preferred)
  • Familiarity with engines and batteries (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (preferred)
  • Valid UK Driving License
