About the Role

Capital One is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our Web Engineering team in Nottingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web platforms, working closely with our Product Owners to build features that enhance our customers' experience.

We are looking for experienced engineers with skills in technologies such as AWS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js. You will work across multiple partners, including ASOS, Post Office, and Very, to develop excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality web applications using modern web frameworks and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our web platforms.
