Venrec Recruitment is pleased to be working with a client based in Medway, Kent, to recruit a Class 1 Driver for a London-based role. This is a driving position that involves delivering scaffolding in Central London and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a full Class 1 license, a valid Digital Tachograph, and a CPC Card. Due to insurance requirements, the successful candidate must have at least 2 years of LGV 1 driving experience, be at least 30 years old, and have no more than 6 points on their license or a DD or DR endorsement. The role offers a competitive rate of pay, with Monday to Friday shifts paying £16.00 per hour plus holiday pay, and Saturday shifts paying £21.00 per hour plus holiday pay. The working week is Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 05:00 and 06:00 hours, and involves working every second Saturday. The client has a variety of ongoing work, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a permanent basis after a qualifying period.
