About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our client's team as an HSE Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market-leading manufacturer in Derbyshire, driving and creating a safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide EHS advice to site management teams and staff
  • Conduct and review risk assessments for routine and non-routine tasks
  • Assist Plant Managers with updating and reviewing EHS procedures, including emergency procedures
  • Support incident investigation and reporting, as required
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain necessary documentation
  • Attend quarterly EHS meetings and ensure audit and inspection issues are addressed
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate on-site audits
  • Develop and maintain EHS documentation, including environmental site records
Requirements
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to train and educate staff on EHS matters
  • Knowledge of ISO14001/18001 is desirable
