Job Opportunity: Deputy Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at The Crystal Centre. As a key member of our Older Adult Inpatient Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients from across Essex.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee assessments of care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for clients requiring treatment.
  • Take charge of the unit in the absence of the person with continuing responsibility, including the role of bed manager for the unit.
  • Teach and supervise the team, including qualified, non-qualified, and learners.
  • Maintain good standards of communication, both oral and written, in accordance with NMC guidelines.
Requirements
  • RMN ENB 998 or equivalent qualification.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Significant experience at Band 5.
  • Literate in IT/Computer Skills.
