NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit/High Dependency service & High Acuity Unit BOC. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care to patients with complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients with single to multi-organ failure, requiring ventilator support, cardiovascular support, and renal support.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 3 years of experience working within a Critical Care environment.
- Basic IT skills and good communication skills.
- Evidence of professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.

NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. However, some service areas may require staff to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period.
