Job Overview

A well-established consulting firm, iO Associates, is seeking a highly skilled Azure Engineer to join their platform team in the UK/EU region.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and deploying Azure solutions, with a strong background in cloud migration and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate existing infrastructure services to Azure, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Support various solution deployments, leveraging Azure DevOps tools such as Git, Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement efficient and reliable Azure-based solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, mentoring junior team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Azure, preferably in a migration context.
  • Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, including Git, Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, including security, data, and networking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Smart meter or utilities industry experience.
