Role Responsibilities
The Community Nursing Associate will collaborate with the Community Nursing Team to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients in their homes or care facilities. This position involves:
- Assisting Registered Nurses in delivering person-centered, compassionate care.
- Performing clinical tasks as directed by registered healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and competencies.
- Conducting non-complex assessments and reviews, including vital sign monitoring and wound care.
This role requires the ability to work independently while being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, covering designated geographical areas.
Key Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing safe and effective nursing care as part of the community nursing service.
- Utilizing enhanced clinical skills to work autonomously within the community.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Maintaining a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
