We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at JBR Capital. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business in achieving its goals through the delivery of effective underwriting.
Key Responsibilities- Loan Application Analysis: Analyze, assess, and make decisions on loan applications within a robust mandate structure, escalating where necessary with recommendations.
- Application Processing: Effectively process daily volumes of applications to deliver an excellent customer service within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and risk appetite.
- Multi-Tasking: Capable of multi-tasking under pressure and against deadlines to meet business objectives.
- Service Delivery: Deliver a high level of service for loan applications within set SLAs.
- Credit Decision Making: Ensure appropriate credit decisions are made within the framework of the credit policy.
- Collaboration: Work with the Collections and Credit teams to identify lessons learned and implement improvements.
- Compliance: Maintain full compliance with all online training, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Ability to interpret financial statements and management accounts.
- Numeracy and Reporting: Strong numeracy, reporting, and Excel skills.
- Credit Underwriting Experience: Experience within credit underwriting, ideally in the motor finance industry.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences.
- Self-Starter: Self-starter, capable of working individually or as part of a team to deliver a customer-focused solution within risk appetite.
