Job Title: Transport Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Vehicle Technician to join our team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary. As a key member of our Police Fleet team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition to support our front-line services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy and meet police standards
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and repairs
  • Conduct vehicle road tests to ensure they are safe and operational
  • Carry out basic vehicle fits to prepare vehicles for police use
  • Support local and national events as required

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
