Senior Ecologist Opportunity

We are working with a forward-thinking planning and environmental consultancy seeking a Senior Ecologist to expand their environmental services. This role offers the chance to join a growing business and progress into a managerial position, building your own in-house ecology team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveys (PRAs, PEAs, reptile, badger, BNG baseline, HMMPs) to support residential planning.
  • Develop off-site BNG solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with major estates, private landowners, and local authorities.
  • Work closely with Planners and Architects.
  • Lead and grow the Ecology team.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in an environmental field.
  • Be a member of CIEEM.
  • Have experience in Phase 1 & 2 Habitat (NVC) Surveys and protected species surveying.
  • Be keen to build and lead a team.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
