Our client, a leading automotive retailer, is seeking a seasoned Head of Business / General Manager to lead a divisional site within a prestigious automotive brand in Edinburgh. As a brand ambassador, you will be responsible for growing sales, leading and developing a team of motor trade professionals, and delivering excellent customer service.
The RoleYou will have overall responsibility for the strategic agenda of the business, driving sales growth, and empowering colleagues to achieve their best. Your commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit will be essential in owning and influencing your P&L, while understanding the constraints and requirements of a Plc corporate environment.
Requirements- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate a vision and gain buy-in from the team.
- Curiosity and a passion for the automotive industry, with a keen interest in innovations and the competitor landscape.
- Commercial expertise, with a focus on driving sales growth and managing a P&L.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels and influence others.
- A full EU Driving Licence.
As a Head of Business, you will receive a guaranteed salary of C£70,000, plus an excellent bonus (subject to achieving set KPI's) OTE of circa £120-£140,000.
