About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with Hydrotest expertise to join our client's team in a key role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading energy technology company, contributing to the advancement of safer, cleaner, and more efficient energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide critical technical support and guidance to the Work Centre, ensuring that all equipment is in top working order and ready for production.
  • Manufacturing Process Improvement: Maintain and improve manufacturing processes, adhering to Combined Operating Instructions (COIs) and industry best practices.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Lead and collaborate on risk assessments with Engineers, Operators, and HSEQ teams, identifying and mitigating potential risks and hazards within the Work Centre.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, complete necessary equipment checklists and risk assessments, and review and analyse process inspection records to maintain high quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in or lead Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, coordinating with the Manufacturing Improvement team, and provide data and manpower identification for CI activities and projects.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Participate in Lean Development programmes and apply Lean Manufacturing techniques to enhance production performance, identifying opportunities for the introduction of lean manufacturing methods.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tooling and equipment are in good condition and readily available for production, and proactively identify and resolve potential production line stoppages.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Lead technical or material issue resolution during production in collaboration with WCEs, and act as the first point of contact for production-related issues outside of standard working hours.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly review and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve production performance.
