Position Overview: As the Retail Store Leader, you will report directly to the Retail Operations Manager, playing a pivotal role in the successful launch of our flagship store in London. This position involves overseeing a team of 15-20 individuals, including an Assistant Store Manager, Floor Leads, Café Lead, Stockroom Lead, and Sales Associates/Stock Assistants.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the onboarding process for new team members and manage the sales floor and merchandising strategies to enhance customer engagement.
- Attract, recruit, train, and cultivate a high-performing team aligned with our core values, focusing on delivering an exceptional experience for our clientele.
- Achieve store revenue targets through a people-centric leadership style, fostering a culture of outstanding service and community involvement, including the execution of product launches and special events.
- Continuously develop your team through clear goal-setting, ongoing coaching, and effective delegation of responsibilities.
- Build and nurture relationships, both personally and through your team, to enhance our VIP engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Community and Events teams to position the store as a trendsetter through impactful events and memorable experiences.
- Oversee HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training, performance management, and offboarding.
- Maintain the integrity of physical and digital environments through effective merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention strategies, always seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to provide insights that capitalize on local opportunities, streamline operations, and contribute to our future retail strategy.
