About the Role

This exciting short-term contract opportunity for a Radiography Technician - Mechanical Inspector is a unique chance to showcase your expertise and skills with a world-leading Formula 1 organisation.

You will be a key member of the team and the successful candidate will be crucial to the success of this dynamic company on its F1 projects.

The duration of this contract will initially run until the end of the year and will be inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing on all Radiography Inspection tasks related to internally manufactured parts.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of operating CT and X-ray systems.
  • Able to verify mechanical components to ensure parts meet specification by using all types of Radiography equipment with knowledge of Nikon X-Inspect or Zeiss Bosello an advantage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of using Volume graphics.
  • Able to carry out detailed inspections and measurements of production samples.
  • Able to examine parts to detect faulty finishing, damage, assembly burrs, or deterioration of surfaces etc.
  • Understanding H&S practices and procedures for radiation awareness.
  • Able to complete concession information and create reports/overview.
  • Some basic Metrology Inspection skills set to be flexible when required.
Qualifications
  • Level 3 Quality apprenticeship or higher.
  • Mechanical Engineering HNC.
  • Intermediate CT Inspection training – To include firm understanding of Volume Graphics by OEM training or on-site by skilled users.
  • PCN or CSWIP Radiography qualification an advantage.
