Senior Audit Analyst

The Senior Audit Analyst plays a crucial role in executing business, regulatory, compliance, and operational audits in alignment with the Internal Audit Plan established by BGC Group. This position involves crafting comprehensive audit programs, pinpointing issues, and producing compelling audit reports. Additionally, the analyst will manage special audits and project evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk-oriented audit assignments and verify the accuracy of data and analyses.
  • Collaborate with management to recommend corrective actions for audit observations.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with audit stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of audits while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide updates to the Head of Internal Audit regarding audit status.
  • Undertake special projects as required.
Key Contacts and Relationships:
  • Build and sustain relationships with essential stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with various departments to resolve audit issues.
Required Skills:
  • Extensive experience in conducting audits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, or consulting.
  • Capability to lead meetings autonomously.
  • Familiarity with key regulations such as AML and GDPR.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Possession of one or more professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CAMS).
  • Previous experience in audit, compliance, or risk management roles.
