We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at WeDo, a software powerhouse that builds enterprise-grade software solutions for tier 1 and tier 2 insurers globally. Our software and enterprise products leverage SaaS, Cloud, Data Management, Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI, built with Angular front-end and C#.NET Core Microservices hosted on Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong DevOps experience and a passion for building scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our team as we build out a new SaaS platform based on Azure services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure components using C#.
  • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for product teams, focusing on high cadence and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the team to define infrastructure requirements and create infrastructure as code using Pulumi.
  • Work with the team to build tooling that maximizes the developer experience of platform users.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in software development using C#.NET.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, including Azure, in areas such as networking, storage, integration, compute, and analytics.
  • Experience building pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including object-oriented design and implementation, design patterns, SOLID principles, Agile, and Extreme Programming methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Interview Process:
