Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician to join our team at Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Quality Control: Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on materials, parts, and products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Test Equipment Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Quality Documentation: Document test results, report any defects or issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaboration with Quality Manager: Work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards.
- Problem-Solving: Participate in problem-solving activities to mitigate defects and improve product quality.
- Qualifications: Hold an active PCN (Personnel Certification Scheme) and Squib Certificates for VT/MT/PT.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications, use quality instruments, and work in accordance with ISO 9712 standards.
- Education: Relevant education or training in a related field.
- Competitive Salary: £40,000 + overtime.
