About the Role:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Trowbridge. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the individuals we support, while also contributing to the management and supervision of our supported living service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals to gain independence in their daily lives, while assisting the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
  • Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, support with supervision, order medication, and ensure individuals are supported to manage their finances.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to develop and implement person-centered care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
