Our facility in Merthyr Tydfil combines beef and lamb processing and packaging operations. We provide a variety of beef and lamb offerings, from retail-ready cuts for butcher shops to branded packaged meats. Our products are sourced from local farms, raised on open pastures, and meticulously selected by our expert butchers, ensuring integrity and superior quality assurance.

We are seeking a Packing Operator to join our dynamic Logistics team.

This is a full-time, permanent role with working hours from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, including an unpaid break each day.

Job Responsibilities:

  • No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Capability to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Willingness to acquire new skills and experiences.
  • Competitive pay rates starting at £11.94 per hour, increasing to £12.94 per hour.
  • Core working hours are 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

As a member of the Logistics Team, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to specifications and guidance from Line Manager/Supervisor/QC.
  • Preparing products for customer dispatch.
  • Understanding your role is crucial for the efficient operation of the production line, with specific responsibilities to ensure smooth production.
  • Complying with Health and Safety regulations, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Engaging in some heavy lifting as required.
  • Working in a temperature-controlled environment.
