Job Description

Petroplan is seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to lead global engineering projects and teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering and team leadership within the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in Upstream Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical engineering projects, ensuring technical standards, project schedules, and safety requirements are met.
  • Supervise teams and project schedules, overseeing site visits and coordination with global offices.
  • Perform engineering tasks for electrical systems, including design, troubleshooting, and improvement.
  • Prepare man-hour estimates, plan project activities, and evaluate the impact of new legislation on plant design and performance.
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with IEC and other international standards.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering and team leadership within Oil & Gas, especially in Upstream Engineering.
  • Proficient in using ETAP for electrical analysis.
  • Excellent English proficiency for technical presentations.
  • Desirable skills include offshore certification and experience with Floating Units.
  • Bachelor's degree within the Electrical Engineering field or a BA in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering.
