About the Role:
The AuB Talent client, a leading environmental services company, is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join their team at their recycling production facility in the UK. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and secure operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the shift production team, ensuring that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Work closely with the Production Manager to develop and implement production plans, ensuring that the facility operates at optimal levels.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the facility is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Coordinate with traffic and product coming onto site to ensure production is constant and efficient.
Requirements:
- Experience working in the waste or recycling sector, or in a related field such as production or manufacturing.
- Proven experience of managing or supervising small to medium-sized teams.
- Strong people management skills and ability to develop a positive team working environment.
- Previous experience of working within health and safety legislation and a positive approach to all health and safety matters.
- Experience of working within and meeting SLA and KPI requirements.
About the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in production or manufacturing. They will have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a positive, can-do attitude and be keen to develop themselves as the business grows.
