Our client, a renowned provider of training and apprenticeships in the electrical engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Electrical Trainer Assessor to join their team in Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality training sessions in electrical engineering to small groups of learners, focusing on practical, hands-on knowledge.
- Conduct on-site training four days a week, with one day allocated to administrative tasks, either from home or office.
- Assess and provide feedback on learner progress and competence, guiding apprentices through their qualifications.
- Collaborate with the electrical team to develop and improve course materials, ensuring all educational standards are met.
- Engage with learners to support their educational and professional development, participating in internal meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of training programmes.
- Experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on practical, hands-on knowledge.
- Relevant qualifications, including C&G 5357 level 3 Electrical.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of electrical engineers.
- Ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions, proficiency in carrying out assessments and providing constructive feedback.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, comfortable with on-site working, and ability to work well within a team.
- Permanent position offering job security.
- Competitive Salary from £35K - £45K (depending on experience).
