Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Gravity Recruit Limited. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including general maintenance, joinery, basic plumbing, and minor electrical works.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance to external contractors as needed.
  • Carry out larger property projects, such as refits and setting up new stores.
  • Assist with multi-site management and provide support to clients as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or shopfitting role.
  • Experience in general maintenance, including changing locks, basic plumbing, re-lamping, tiling, and laying carpets/flooring.
  • Clean driving license and basic IT skills.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety within the workplace.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Previous experience in shopfitting.
  • Experience in painting and decorating.
  • Electrical certification.
  • Understanding of asbestos.

Package:

£36,500 + package + benefits + van.
