About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Senior Nurse to join our team at Amber Mace, a reputable care provider with a commitment to excellence in the care sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their individual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and choice.
  2. Support residents with dementia, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance their quality of life.
  3. Administer medication and treatments in accordance with care plans and medical advice.
  4. Lead and manage a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans.
  6. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies, maintaining high standards of care in line with regulatory guidelines.
  7. Collaborate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. A registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
  2. Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably within a care home or dementia care setting.
  3. A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and supporting those with dementia.
  4. A commitment to providing the highest standard of care and a keen eye for detail.
  5. Flexibility to work day shifts, including some weekends, as required.
