Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Radiography Support Specialist (Band 3) to join our dynamic team. This role encompasses a variety of essential radiographic assistant responsibilities. Our Radiology department utilizes a diverse array of imaging techniques, including X-ray, CT scans, and Nuclear Medicine. Recently, we have upgraded our facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, enabling us to conduct approximately 250,000 examinations annually.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate with our team of Radiography Support Specialists, providing assistance to radiographers, ultrasonographers, and radiologists in their clinical tasks. This position also includes administrative and clerical duties.

With appropriate training, the individual will be expected to perform cannulation.

This role will involve exposure to our mammography and gynecological ultrasound departments.

A flexible approach to work is crucial, as our service operates extended hours throughout a 7-day week.
