Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our team in the Pontypridd area. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an 18-year-old young woman with epilepsy and mobility needs, enabling her to participate in community activities, pursue her interests, and maintain her independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with toileting needs and personal care
  • Accompany the individual to social outings, community activities, and shopping trips
  • Support with school runs and transportation
  • Engage in conversation and build a rapport with the individual
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as required

Requirements

  • Female candidate due to personal care requirements
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Considerate and caring attitude
  • Friendly and engaging personality
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Car driver with a valid license

Working Hours

8 hours per week, worked as double-handed support (in-conjunction with another PA)

Weekday hours mostly worked 2:30pm to 4:30pm, with flexibility to discuss at interview stage

Rate of Pay

£12.20 per hour, plus 40p per mile where applicable
