Join Our Team as a SEN Support Assistant

Flourish Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Support Assistant to work within a Primary School environment. This role offers the flexibility of day-to-day supply work, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Duties:

  • Provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Assist in delivering the National Curriculum at Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher to enhance student learning
  • Support classroom management and foster a positive educational atmosphere
  • Prepare educational resources and assist in various classroom activities
  • Track and document student progress, offering constructive feedback to educators and parents

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certification
  • Previous experience in a UK educational setting
  • Experience with children who have Special Educational Needs, particularly those with ASD
  • Understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to work effectively as part of a team
