Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Leicestershire

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Fault Finding and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission new equipment, ensuring it meets the required specifications and safety standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Customer Liaison: Communicate effectively with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Electrical Engineering Qualifications: HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • PLC Knowledge: Good understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their applications.
  • Special Purpose Machinery Experience: Previous experience in servicing and maintaining special purpose machinery.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge: Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Travel and Work Abroad: Willingness to travel and work abroad when required.
