Job Title: Defence Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Defence Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex defence projects from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver defence projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, and dashboards.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of project management processes and procedures to improve project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in defence project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Primavera P6, and RiskHive.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body, such as the Association for Project Management (APM) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
