Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent provider of switchgear solutions, is seeking an experienced electrical Service Engineer to enhance their operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both AC and DC systems, along with expertise in mechanical installations, servicing, and maintenance.


Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be tasked with:
  • Executing installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of AC & DC systems at client locations across the UK and Europe.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with site projects.
  • Providing on-site customer support, employing problem-solving skills and innovative solutions.
  • Producing detailed written reports, specifications, and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensuring adherence to the company's Quality Management System.
  • Complying with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Guaranteeing that Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are properly followed and documented.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing field service roles.
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications or training.
  • 18th Edition certification.
  • Trained in low voltage AC & DC systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license.

Compensation Package:
  • Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £38,000.
