About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business and Finance Tutor to join our team at Study Group. As a Business and Finance Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve their academic goals and develop the skills and knowledge required for success in their chosen field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective learning programmes that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work that promote equality and diversity, and ensure all learning materials are accessible and engaging for students.
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence and student well-being.
  • Apply assessment principles and theories to ensure students' progress and achievement.
  • Provide regular and timely feedback to students to enable them to improve and achieve their qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress, and respond promptly to any issues that may arise.
  • Support students with individual target setting and action planning to improve their academic performance.
  • Participate in the development of the VLE and contribute subject knowledge for the development of materials for Business and Finance modules.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business and Finance Tutor who possesses a teaching qualification such as Cert Ed, PCET or PGCE, and is qualified to Degree level or professional equivalent in a relevant subject area. You will have a thorough subject knowledge of Business Finance, including related fields in Business Studies and Marketing, and experience in teaching International Students. You will also have experience in supporting students in a pastoral role and delivering and developing learning and teaching through digital learning platforms.
