Upper KS2 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper KS2 Teacher to join our reputable 'Good' one-form primary school in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent teaching in a Upper KS2 setting, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and improvement of weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability by introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor children's progress and report back to parents as necessary.
  • Create a positive learning environment that is safe and conducive for learning.
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for Upper KS2 students.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification and QTS.
  • At least 1 year of experience in teaching Upper KS2 students.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Ability to create and present engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
