Housing Disrepair Fee Earner Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into Housing Disrepair claims
  • Liaise with clients and third parties to gather information and evidence
  • Draft and review legal documents, including court pleadings and settlement agreements
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or non-qualified Fee Earner with experience of managing a litigated caseload
  • Strong knowledge of Housing Law and Dispute Resolution principles
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
