Job Title: Contract Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a Contract Engineer, you will be responsible for providing solutions to customers using advanced project delivery expertise for multiple large, complex, or multi-business projects to meet customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: To process, administrate and co-ordinate customer orders from receipt to dispatch, ensuring they are delivered on time, to customer specification and within budget.
- Contract Documentation: To interpret technical requirements, prepare and submit contract documentation as appropriate i.e. creating technical documents, contract reports, O&M Manuals.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers regarding all elements of the project including approvals, variation instructions, deliveries, site work, customer inspections and/or maintenance of ongoing framework contracts.
- Project Management: Manage customer Projects to Business and Customer requirements, liaising closely with supporting Tendering, Production and Sales teams.
- Performance Review: Provide feedback to Team Manager on current performance.
- Contract Review: Ensure Project performance is achieved through thorough timely Contract Reviews and ensure Risk is managed to business objectives, both Commercially and Technically.
- Quality Assurance: Check the work in progress, through Review meetings, feedback any positive/negative deviations for next bid submission.
- KPIs: Ensure departmental KPIs are met.
Requirements:
- Experience: More than 5 years' experience within a customer-centric role.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate experience within Technical Project Management.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Industry Exposure: Experience in a similar industry or exposure to switchgears.
Education:
A minimum of Undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering.
