EXPERIENCED HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER REQUIRED
We are seeking a permanent HGV Class 2 Driver to become an integral part of our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various retail locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Annual salary of £35,100.00
- Standard working hours starting at 15:00
- 48-hour work week, Sunday to Thursday
- Collaborative two-person delivery team
- Overtime compensation for hours exceeding 48
- 31 days of annual leave, not including public holidays
This position requires physical stamina as it involves manual labor and heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing 4 to 7 delivery drops daily
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely
- Maintaining accurate tachographs and conducting vehicle inspections
- Ensuring the security of both vehicle and cargo
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 driving license and CPC certification
- At least 6 months of driving experience with Class 2 vehicles
- No more than 6 penalty points on driving license
- Strong knowledge of geographical routes
