Job Title: BSIP & EP Programme Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of our Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and Enhanced Partnership (EP) initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in transportation project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan to deliver the BSIP and EP initiatives
- Lead a team of project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary controls are in place to minimize potential impacts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including bus operators, contractors, and elected members
- Ensure that all project deliverables are met, including reporting and financial requirements
- Identify and pursue additional funding opportunities to support project delivery
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project dashboard to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transportation project management, with a strong background in bus service improvement and enhanced partnership initiatives
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of project managers and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
