We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Risk Assurance Manager to join our team at BDO. As a key member of our Digital and Risk Advisory Services (DRAS) team, you will be responsible for delivering internal audit, advisory, and Third-Party Assurance (TPA) engagements to a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver ESG assurance and advice to clients across various sectors, supporting them in achieving their ESG objectives.
- Develop and maintain deep client relationships, and play a key role in developing junior members of the BDO team.
- Manage projects and support the growth of our ESG team members, working with a wide variety of clients.
- Provide advisory support to clients implementing and improving their ESG arrangements.
- Develop and maintain specialist sub-sector, technical, and regulatory knowledge.
- Internal audit or regulatory assurance or advisory work experience.
- Existing knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, including ESG and sustainability, as well as relevant global reporting initiatives.
- Experience in delivering and managing work under recognized assurance standards, such as ISAE 3000 and 3410.
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence, lead, engage, and manage stakeholders.
- Ability to lead smaller engagements or sections of complex engagements.
