About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activity Coordinator to join our team at Golfhill Care Home in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and Head of Dementia & Wellbeing to implement Advinia's Wellbeing and Engagement Programme - S.P.E.C.S.
  • Develop and coordinate a range of person-centred activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, residents, relatives, and friends to ensure that our activities are inclusive and engaging for all.
  • Organise trips and outings to enable residents to maintain their hobbies and interests.
  • Support the creation of a stimulating and engaging environment throughout the home.
  • Manage the activities budget and maintain accurate records of expenditure.
  • Encourage resident participation and feedback through the development of a Resident's Committee.
  • Ensure risk assessments are completed for all activities and outings.
