Quest Search & Selection is currently working with a leading supplier in the fashion and footwear industry to find a Buyer to join their team. This role is focused on own-label womenswear and will support the new Buying Director in developing and delivering a commercially focused product range.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in sourcing and developing a well-balanced product range that meets customer expectations and maximizes sales and profit.
- Work closely with merchandising, design, and QA teams to ensure a consistent and commercial product range.
- Negotiate with suppliers and factories to manage margins and build long-term relationships.
- Develop effective working relationships across the business and mentor team members.
- At least + years of Buying experience in a junior buyer or buyer role.
- Ability to relocate to the UK or be based in Lancashire/Cumbria/Scotland.
- Experience in fashion, accessories, or footwear is ideal, but other categories will be considered.
- Previous involvement in NPD and strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills are essential.
- Salary between £45,000 - £55,000.
- Relocation allowance.
