Town Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Town Planner to join our dynamic team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our communities, creating sustainable and vibrant urban environments, and ensuring that towns and cities thrive.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of urban planning projects.
  • Prepare and review zoning proposals, land-use plans, and development applications.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including local residents and government officials, to gather input and build consensus.
  • Evaluate the environmental, social, and economic impact of proposed projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest urban planning trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and land-use laws.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, or other relevant planning software is a plus.
