About Middlefields House

Middlefields House is a state-of-the-art care home in Chippenham, Wiltshire, designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our 48 residents. Each household within the home feels like a regular family home, complete with lounges, dining areas, and communal spaces for shared activities.

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to join our dynamic team

• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of resident rooms and common areas, ensuring a fresh and inviting atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the Manager to implement cleaning schedules and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies.
• Assist with laundry duties, including folding items, distributing residents' clothing, and maintaining the linen and household item storage areas.
• Contribute to the cleanliness of the kitchen and catering equipment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
• Promptly address any spills or messes to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records as required by your Manager.
• Participate in meetings, training activities, and fire and evacuation procedures as needed.

• You possess a genuine passion for working with older adults and demonstrate empathy towards their needs.
• You are proficient in operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
